About Groszek
About Groszek
A Polish neighbourhood store with two addresses in Parkstad Limburg.
How it started
How it started
Groszek opened in Kerkrade because Parkstad had no shop where you could buy real Polish kabanosy, fresh twaróg or a box of Ptasie Mleczko without driving for an hour. We started with a row of fridges and a handful of trusted suppliers. Customers brought patience. We gave back quality and access.
Five years later there are more shelves, an in-house bakery and a second shop in Heerlen. What stayed the same: suppliers we know, Thursday deliveries and staff who help in three languages.
What drives us
What drives us
For our Polish customers, Groszek is coming home. For Dutch and German customers, it is discovery. That is not a marketing line, it is what happens at the counter every day.
Three principles
Three principles
Real, not import-chic
No price list with invented names. We sell what you would buy at a Lewiatan or Biedronka, at a price that works.
Neighbourhood first
We know our regulars by name. We order products on request. We know which family eats what.
Accessible from three sides
Polski, Nederlands, Deutsch. Our stores sit minutes from the border. For those coming from further away: parking is free.
